This year, the winter weather in Suwanee Georgia has been rough. One of the big concerns that arises with weather like this is driving. Being that the metro Atlanta area isn’t usually as cold as it’s been, many local drivers may not know some of the precautions that need to be taken with winter weather. So our team over at Japanese Auto Repair compiled a list of some things that you can do to make sure your car is in the best condition for this winter driving.
#1 Check your tire pressure and tread
This is something that should be done even in good weather conditions, but this can be even more dangerous in winter weather. Having worn and/or improperly inflated tires are dangerous.
#2 Having a Working Heater and Defroster
Often we don’t think about windshield wipers until it is raining. Likewise, many drivers are unaware of heater and defroster issues with their car. Make sure your heater and defroster are in good working condition for comfort and safety reasons.
#3 Check Your Battery
Cold weather is hard on batteries, especially with corrosion. Make sure you keep your battery connections clean and free of corrosion.
